Summary

The run proceeded through Act 1, successfully defeating Bygone Effigy and arriving at the Act 1 Boss, Kin Priest. During round 5 of the boss fight, the agent was facing heavy incoming damage and used a Gambler's Brew to dig for defensive cards, but discarded crucial scaling (Invoke+). In round 6, the agent could neither deal the final 3 damage to the boss nor block the incoming overflow damage from the follower attacks passing through Osty, resulting in death.

Bridge findings

  • Potion handSelect lag at command id ~2714, screen Combat, revision 1022. I used Gambler's Brew which successfully pushed the game into a handSelect mode, but the read-combat.ps1 output did not reflect the active handSelect or the updated hand until a subsequent card was played. This aligns with the known bridge-protocol-notes regarding potion lag. Recovered by manually calling HandSelectCard and HandConfirmSelect blindly to force the game state forward.

Decision log highlights

  • Luminous Choir event: Chose "Offer Tribute" to receive the Bookmark relic.
  • Shop: Purchased a card removal to eliminate a basic Strike.
  • Draft decisions: Leaned into Ethereal synergies by drafting Pull from Below and Defile.
  • Act 1 Boss: Used Gambler's Brew to cycle hand, but a misplay in discarding Invoke+ led to a lack of energy/scaling for survival.
